New Jersey Comic Expo To Host "Fernanda"Creator Mario Rivas

Mr. Mario Rivas is the creator of "Fernanda," a popular animated series broadcast throughout the Republic of Cuba and throughout The Americas.

This will be Mr. Rivas' first appearance in the United States and is happening as part of a cultural exchange program that seeks to introduce fans of the creative arts to artistic works in each nation.

Mr. Rivas will participate in panel discussions with his peers in the United States and will lead a session to share the stories behind "Fernanda" and other productions from the Republic of Cuba.

New Jersey Comic Expo will promote Mr. Rivas' appearance through a campaign running on Univision and in Latinos Unidos, a weekly Spanish Language paper that reaches 42,000 readers in New Jersey.
